The defect

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 FEC52, FEC72, FEC92, and FGB72 trucks. The transmission oil cooler hoses may leak transmission fluid (ATF) due to being secured with hose clamps that have an insufficient clamping force.

The risk

Leaking transmission fluid may prevent the transmission from shifting, rendering the transmission inoperative, increasing the risk of a crash.
