The defect

Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2017 Sport, Flying Cloud and International recreational trailers. The Tire Placard on these vehicles may be missing the spare tire information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

The risk

Without the correct tire and load information for the spare tire, the operator may install the incorrect tire or overload it, with either scenario increasing the risk of a crash.

Check whether your specific vehicle is affected
