The defect

Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2020 Freightliner Cascadia vehicles. Due to inadequate clearance between the brake chambers and the frame rail, the brake chambers can contact the frame rail and cause brake chamber to detach or be damaged.

The risk

A detached brake chamber can cause reduced brake effectiveness, increasing the risk of a crash.
