The defect
Lion Electric Company (Lion) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Lion C electric school buses. During a sudden braking and change of direction combination, a decrease in the hydraulic system pressure can occur, causing a loss of power steering and power braking.

The loss of power steering and power braking increases the risk of a crash.

Lion will notify owners, and dealers will replace the hydraulic pressure relief valves, free of charge. The recall began February 4, 2020. Owners may contact Lion customer service at 1-855-546-6706.
