The defect

Vermeer Manufacturing Company (Vermeer) is recalling certain 2021 BC900XL, BC1000XL, and BC1200XL brush chippers. The chipper discharge chute may separate, and fall off the trailer.

A separated chipper discharge chute can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of injury or crash.

The fix — what to do
