The defect

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Autocar Xpeditor vehicles. The steering column shaft pinch bolt may be improperly secured.

An improperly secured steering column shaft pinch bolt can bind, causing a sudden loss of steering and increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix — what to do

Dealers will replace the steering column shaft pinch bolt, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 19, 2022. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACX-2206.
