The defect
Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2021 LFS buses. The welds may fail, allowing the rotary plate to separate from the door operator.
The risk
The separation can allow the passenger door to open while the bus is in motion, increasing the risk of injury.

Nova Bus will replace the door operator assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 12, 2024. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5612.
