The defect

Pierce Manufacturing (Pierce) is recalling certain 2025 Velocity, Saber, Impel, Enforcer, and Arrow XT vehicles. The steering linkage arm bolt may come loose, resulting in the steering linkage arm detaching from the steering motor.

Steering linkage arm detachment can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix — what to do

Dealers will tighten the steering linkage arm bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 10, 2026. Owners may contact Pierce customer service at 1-888-974-3723.
