The defect
Taizhou Qianxin Vehicle Co. Ltd is recalling certain 2024 Fly Wing Snake 250 EFI motorcycles. The brake pads may fail to stop the motorcycle as intended in wet road conditions. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 122, “Motorcycle Brake Systems.”
The risk
The braking performance in wet road conditions may be reduced, resulting in extended braking distance, increasing the risk of a crash.
