  • Sport mode light flashes then transmission does not engage in gears. It starts to make a whining sound ,car moves slowly when gas is pressed. Happens more when weather is hot. Possible problem: transmission control unit (tcu). *tr

  • Tl*the contact owns a 1991 honda accord. In june of 2008, the transmission control switch was replaced. It failed again in september of 2008. The contact believes that there is a defect with the part itself. The current and failure mileages were unavailable.
