The defect

New Flyer of America, Inc. (New Flyer) is recalling certain 2023 XD60 and XDE60 60' articulated transit buses. The anti-lock brake system (ABS) module may lose power during hard braking, causing the ABS system to fail.

The risk

An ABS system that fails increases the risk of a crash.
