2024 Forest River XLR Boost Toyhauler Recall: Taillights may be insufficiently reflective
NHTSA campaign 23V834000 · Exterior Lighting · filed Dec 8, 2023 · verified Jul 30, 2026
The defect
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 XLR Boost toy haulers. The taillights may be insufficiently reflective. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
The risk
Taillights that do not reflect enough light reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
