The throttle body motor may malfunction causing the malfunction indicator light (mil) to illuminate on the dash, and the engine control module (ecm) will store a trouble code and place the vehicle into a limp home mode. Toyota will initiate special service campaign 30i to inspect and/or replace the throttle body. *tt
