Official summary
Audi: automatic headlight switches on and off without reason. Automatic headlight switches on too early or too late, switches off too late or comes on too late when the sun shines brightly. After replacing the rain light sensor or after replacing the windshield, the automatic headlight switches on and off without reason. Headlight can still be operated manually. Possible causes could be window damaged/dirty in sensor area; when window was repaired the sensor was fitted without adhesive pad; and sensor code for window is wrong; wrong windshield was installed; or wiring (plug/contact loose) dama
