This communication is informing dealer principals, general managers, service managers & parts managers of a special service campaign initiated by gulf states toyota, inc. (gst) to inspect and repair 682 toyota prius v vehicles equipped with a non-toyota seat heater which may stop working due to a failure of the wiring connectors. The non-toyota seat heater sensors were installed as a gst installed option under gst p/n 00015-j1248-01.
