Official summary

"service bulletin - there is a judder from the torque converter lock-up clutch felt while driving between 20 45 mph. To minimize the possibility for the judder to occur, a software update for the transmission is available. Additionally, the transmission fluid will be replaced. To increase customer confidence, american honda is extending the warranty on the torque converter in affected vehicles to 8 years from the original date of purchase or 105,000 miles, whichever comes first."

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
