Pitstop: noise from rear on hard acceleration or when turning - when diagnosing an unusual noise from the rear of a 2016my sorento (uma), equipped with all-wheel-drive (awd) and built prior to june 18th, 2015, inspect the rear propeller shaft for evidence of contact with the heat shield during hard acceleration from a stop, or while turning. If contact is found (see images), refer to the procedure outlined below to resolve the concern.
