On some vehicles equipped with a 6.6l diesel engine (rpo lgh) and vehicles equipped with a 6.6l diesel engine (rpo lml/lgh), the nitrogen oxide (nox) sensor may fail due to contamination between the terminals in the sensor and the wire interface. The contamination may cause the nox sensor signal to become unstable and/or oscillate which may cause a malfunction indicator light to illuminate. Dealers are to replace the nox sensor.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
