Official summary

Nissan is conducting a voluntary service campaign on approximately 39,968 my 2013-15 nissan sgrade leaf vehicles sold in the united states, canada, guam, and puerto rico to replace the air conditioning (a/c) system line and remove a bracket. This action is being taken to prevent damage to the a/c line near the connection between the line assembly and condenser from electric motor movement, which could result in refrigerant leakage and poor air conditioning system performance. The new parts and bracket removal will allow for additional flex in the a/c line during electric motor movement.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
