Official summary
This bulletin announces a design change of the roof weatherstrip retainer/ molding to address customer concerns of a growling sound which may be heard when fully closing the door glass. The sound results from a deformation of the roof weatherstrip caused by the retainer/ molding. The retainer/ molding can cause the weatherstrip to roll as shown in the illustration below when the glass closes fully in the area where the a pillar meets the roof.
