Official summary
This preliminary information communication provides information to the technician with the steps need to diagnose and repair vehicle that may have a concern with navigation icon not showing the correct location then jumping to the correct location. The position indicator may show the vehicle turning in the opposite direction or may show the vehicle traveling off the road. Technician will inspect the human machine interface mounting. Follow service information for the correct orientation of the human machine interface.
