This preliminary information communication provides information to the technician about the engine oil cooler part number 12594525 and it is no longer available through general motors. Dealer will need to locate a radiator repair shop to see if the oil cooler can be repaired or locate a good used engine oil cooler. If the cooler cannot be repaired or a used one cannot be found, replace the engine assembly with a (new or used) second design 2.4 le5.
