Official summary
This technical service bulletin, provided to dealers, provides a field fix procedure to address false mil illumination with dtc p2097 stored in the ecm. To minimize false mil illumination, this software update optimizes the target a/f ratio adjustment condition when the accelerator pedal is depressed and released suddenly. For affected 2011 − 2013 models, the linear air−fuel sensor (lafs) must also be replaced.
