Official summary
2016-2017 focus rs models are shipped with front coil spring spacers that keep the suspension from bottoming out and to provide ramp clearance during shipping. The vehicle is shipped with a sticker on the windshield and section 2 in the pdi service record directs the technician to remove the blocks prior to customer delivery. Failure to remove the spacers will result in a rougher than normal ride and will make noise while driving. Please share this ssm with your sales and pdi departments.
