"service bulletin - american honda is extending the warranty coverage on all electronic power steering torque sensors to 5 years from the original date of purchase with no mileage limit. This only applies to vehicles with eps dtcs 53-01 torque sensor (low/high check) or dtc 53-02 torque sensor (average check). This warranty extension will not apply to any vehicle that has ever been declared a total loss or sold for salvage by a financial institution or insurer, or has a branded or similar title under any state s law."
