Official summary
"situation: a transmission fault-traction reduced message may be displayed in the message center and diagnostic trouble code (dtc) p1889-14 or p0961-62 may be stored in the rear differential control module (rdcm). Note: any repairs other than configuring the rear differential control module (rdcm) must be carried out as a separate claim. Cause: this may be caused by the rear differential control module (rdcm) diagnostic function being too sensitive, leading to the false detection of open circuits or sticking valves in the active on-demand coupling assembly."
