"issued may 2014: during a recent market visit it was noted that a significant number of dealers have been carrying out pdi s and then returning the vehicle to a storage compound without refitting the transit relay or returning the vehicle to transit mode. Transit mode / transit relay are designed to protect the customer s battery up to the point of delivery. All vehicles in storage must have the transit relay in place or be in transit mode."
