Official summary

If the immobilizer unit lc62-67-5g2* or dc69-67-5g2* needs to be replaced with a new one, these parts are no longer available. New alternative service parts kits are now available, including alternative immobilizer unit bj3d-67-5g2l or tc91-67-5g2j. They will require the following additional procedure to be performed in order to work on the vehicle. Powertrain control module (pcm) has to be replaced with one in the kit. The parts kit has to be ordered for the specific vin due to the necessary pcm replacement. Some vehicles need a wire connection change at the vehicle side connector for the imm
