"engineering request for investigation - american honda (ahm) is investigating certain 2017 ilxs & rdxs with a client complaint of a creaking, rattling, buzzing, clicking or rubbing noise coming from the driver s airbag area of the steering wheel when turning or driving. It is the same complaint covered under the service bulletin 16-025 steering wheel noise while driving but the vehicles are outside of the affected vin range. To fully understand the cause of this condition, ahm would like to collect specific information from the vehicle prior to you attempting a repair of any kind."
