Some 2017 Escape and MKC vehicles equipped with a 2.0L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI) engine built on or before 20-Aug-2016 may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC P04DB (crankcase ventilation system disconnected) in powertrain control module(PCM) memory. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
