Some 2017 Escape and MKC vehicles equipped with a 2.0L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI) engine built on or before 20-Aug-2016 may exhibit a lack of power drivability concern with an illuminated MIL and DTC P0234 stored in powertrain control module (PCM) memory. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
