This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that a tick ping noise on torque reversal or load. Technician will need to replace the propeller shaft. Technician will need to contact General Motors Technical Assistance Center for further assistance if the vehicle was built January 1, 2013 or later.
