Official summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about a failed module programming or difficulty performing certain diagnostic procedures due to the ignition not being in the "Ignition On, Engine Off" mode. Technician will need to press and hold the ACC/OFF portion of the Start/ACC/OFF mode button for 5 seconds with a valid keyless entry transmitter inside the vehicle and the transmission in Park or Neutral.
