Flash: 2.4L Powertrain Diagnostic And System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. Some customers may experience an engine stop start failure while driving. The customer may describe that when the brake pedal is released immediately after the vehicle enters Electronic Start Stop Mode (ESS), the engine turns off and wont restart until you shift to park and cycle the key.
