Official summary
Some 2015-2018 MKC vehicles equipped with a AC power outlet socket may exhibit a condition with the assembly door becoming disconnected, jammed or locked closed. If the door is disconnected, re-install the end cap and door. Refer to updated Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-05 for correct door/spring position installation. If door is jammed or locked closed, this may be due to the door spring not being properly positioned when the door is installed.
