Official summary

Some 2017-2018 Fusion and MKZ vehicles equipped with a 2.0L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI) engine and built on or before 29-Sep-2017 may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC P04DB (crankcase ventilation system disconnected) in the powertrain control module (PCM) memory. Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) using Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) or Ford J2534 Diagnostic Software (FJDS) release 107.04 or higher. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcra

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
