Official summary

When towing a trailer with some LF/LF-HEV/LF-PHEV Sonatas or some AN/NC Santa Fe vehicles equipped with the Blind Spot Detection (BSD) feature, the trailer may interfere with the BSD system operation resulting in cancellation of the BSD operation. When this occurs, a ?BSD canceled? message is displayed in the vehicle?s instrument cluster. The ?BSD canceled? message remains on even if the customer manually disables the BSD system, and may result in customer complaints.
