Official summary
Some 2016 MKX vehicles equipped with a Heated Steering Wheel built on or before 12/2/2015 may exhibit a condition where the heated steering wheel icon is missing from the MyLincoln Touch 8" touch screen. To determine if the vehicle is equipped with a heated steering wheel, refer to the window sticker which can be accessed through HVBOM. To correct the condition, follow the SYNC Module APIMÙ Standard Programming procedure outlined in section 415-00 of the online Workshop Manual. For claiming, use causal part 14D212 and applicable labor operations in section 10 of the service labor time standard
