Official summary
Some 2018 Mustang equipped with 5.0L engines and F-150 equipped with 2.7L, 3.3L, 3.5L and 5.0L, Expedition, Navigator with 3.5L GTDI Engines may exhibit Diagnostic Trouble Code P0181(Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance) after performing Key On Engine Off(KOEO) and Key On Engine Running(KOER) diagnostic tests with cold fuel(Below 50F/10C) in vehicle fuel tank. If vehicle exhibits DTC P0181 after performing KOEO and KOER diagnostic tests, clear DTC. If DTC repeats perform updated PC/ED diagnostic routine posted on Professional Technician Society website.
