Official summary
Some 2017-2018 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) may exhibit a leak at the tire valve stem. When making repairs to the tire valve stem, there is a service kit available that does not include the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor. When replacing the tire valve stem follow the procedure in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 204-04A. For claiming, use causal part 1700 and applicable labor operations in Section 01 of the service labor time standards (SLTS) manual.
