Official summary
Engine Does Not Start at The First Attempt This bulletin involves upgrading the software in the Electronic Steering Lock (ESL). The customer may experience where the engine fails to start at the first attempt. Initial cranking is inhibited but able to start/crank on the second attempt. On further inspection the technician may find DTC B1A92-09- ?Steering Lock Motor - Component Failures? stored in the ESL Module.
