Official summary
Transmission Wiring Harness Repair Or Replacement For No Start Or Stiff Steering This bulletin involves inspecting the transmission wire harness and installing mastic patch. If rub through is visible replace wire harness. A small number of customers may experience a no start condition, stiff steering or a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): · U0131 - Lost Communication With Power Steering Control Module. · U0100-00 - Lost Communication With ECM/PCM. · P0512-00 - Starter Request Circuit.
