Official summary
Issue: Oil leaking between the automatic transmission and transfer case which is currently being misdiagnosed leading to repeat repairs, i.e. leaks incorrectly being identified as coming from the rear transmission oil seal or sump. Oil weeps through the aluminium of the casing in the base of the pocket around where the steel D clutch tube is embedded, refer to attached file.
