Servicenews article - There are two types of 12-volt batteries used in Honda vehicles today: the conventional flooded lead acid (FLA) battery and the absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery. Each battery type has its own uniquely tuned charging and battery management systems, therefore cannot be interchanged.
