Official summary

P41 Interim Repair Procedure Brazil ONLY Some Jeep Commander and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles may experience an unintended change in ignition switch position while driving which may result in loss of engine power, power steering, and braking assist increasing the risk of a crash and disabling one or more of the vehicle?s safety features including the frontal airbags. Chrysler intends to repair the vehicle free of charge (parts and labor). However, the part required to provide a permanent remedy for this condition is currently not available.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
