Official summary
Some 2015-2019 MKC vehicles may exhibit a whistle and/or wind noise at highway speed from the exterior mirror area. Use Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 100-04 and 501-00 for diagnosis of whistle and/or wind noise. If the exterior mirror(s) are identified as the source of the noise verify the distance between the exterior mirror base and the mirror cover before attempting other repairs. A minimum measurement of 1mm (0.0393 in) should be present between the exterior mirror base and the mirror cover.
