Passive Entry And/Or Trunk Latch Not Operating - Install Shorter License Plate Screws This bulletin involves replacing the four rear license plate attachment screws. The rear license plate attachment screws provided with the vehicle may damage the wire harness containing the circuits for the trunk latch and/or passive entry antenna which may cause the passive entry and/or trunk latch not to operate properly. If a customer?s VIN is listed in VIP or your RRT VIN list, perform the repair. For all other customers that describe the symptom/condition listed above, perform the Repair Procedure.
