Official summary

"This Service Information bulletin supersedes SI B65 69 06 dated June 2008. designates changes to this revision SUBJECT Airbag Warning Lamp Illuminated, FC 93EB or FC 55 . The red airbag warning lamp (AWL) in the instrument cluster is illuminated and a fault code for ""Emergency call function..."" is stored in the MRS5 (Multiple Restraint System) control module. The fault code is FC 93EB for the E90 and E91 or FC 55 for the X3. The fault occurs regardless of whether the vehicle has a TCU (Telematics Control Unit) or not. Internal varistor fault within the MRS control module."
