Official summary

EME No Longer Communicates after HV Charging. On the affected i3 vehicles (with software integration levels 15-11-501 through 15-11-504), the Drive Readiness can no longer be established after attempting to charge the HV battery. In such a case, EME no longer communicates with ISTA. In some cases, various calibration values are lost (e.g. resolver angle). CAUSE Vehicle was charged before Transport Mode removal. This may cause: Irreparable damage to the EME. Taught-in values to be set to default values, requiring repetition of teach-in process.
