Official summary
F30 PHEVs- Delayed Driving Readiness Status. Immediately after an engine start (start/stop button press), the gear selector is operated, but no drive position (D or R) can be engaged (transmission stays in P). The customer must operate the gear selector again to engage a desired drive position. Unfavorable software application Vehicle requires approximately 1 second after the start/stop button is pressed to establish a Drive Readiness status. If the gear selector is operated during this 1-second window, gear selection is not going to be executed and the gear shifter must be engaged again.
